/dev/log yet again
I remember someone talking about a setup where you don't need /dev/log but
could log over udp. But I cannot see how. Either I'm brainlocked or there is
no way. AFAICT libc's syslog function (in fact it is vsyslog) opens /dev/log
unless a different path is compiled in. But I cannot see any configurable
option. If /dev/log does not exist, logs are only printed to the console.
Is there any way to log to a different server from a machine without using
/dev/log and syslog?
