Re: Maintining a package



See http://www.debian.org/devel/ and learn about building
packages (Policy manual and Packaging Information).  When you're
confident you want to persue it, email an `Intent to Package'
message to debian-devel (subject to your becoming a maintainer).

Then hope that new-maintainer reopens this month as promised, and
prepare your application (get your key signed).  If that takes
longer than expected, get an unofficial sponsership.
