Well, right now perl-5.004 was the only way I could get a slink machine to
upgrade correctly, from slink perl to perl-5.004 and then perl-5.005. Going
to 5.005 directly simply didn't work.

But THAT isn't a good enough reason to keep 5.004 around, IMHO.
