hi, as of today, i can no longer start rxvt. It simply hangs at startup (i don't see any gui at all). It just sits there and uses no processer time or memory. i am using rxvt version 2.6.1-5 the funny thing is downgrading to 2.6.1-4 dosen't help, and its been working perfectly. something else must be broken and i'm not sure what it is. xterm on the other hand works perfectly. i am running a completely updated potato system. plesae let me know if i can provide more information. ajit -- Ajit Krishnan ajit@((julian|baldric).uwo.ca|home.com http://publish.uwo.ca/~akrishna gpg key 794AE458
