When attempting to install w3-el-e19 or w3-el-e20, which put files in
subdirectories of /usr/share/emacs{19,20}/site-lisp, dpkg complains
that those packages overwrite those directories that are owned by
emacs{19,20} and refuses to install them without --force-overwrite.
Why does dpkg do this? Surely it is okay for one package to populate
directories created by another? This is getting really irritating.
How can I fix it?
Thanks,
Ben.
