This isn't appropriate for -devel-announce.
-devel-announce is for things that all developers *need* to be aware,
not for pet peeves and things that it's be really nifty if everyone was
aware of. Results of discussions and how they'll actually affect the
project might be appropriate, but requests for discussion? Pah.
The part of that message that was appropriate for -devel-announce was
the "Discussion about bootdisk related issues is taking place in -boot."
But that's been that way for eons. It doesn't need another announcement.
IMH, but annoyed, O, etc.
