lilo: linux init=/bin/sash

Now you've everything on that list except vi. Plus you get:
chgrp
cmp 
dd
ed (who needs a sissy vi)
grep
gunzip
gzip
kill 
mknod (that'll be handy)
more
mount
mv
pwd
rmdir
sync (another good thing to have)
tar (you did backup, right? :-)
touch
umount

If you're a belt-and-suspenders type, you can keep a backup copy on a
floppy disk, since it's only 279k. Plus, it already works, is packaged,
and has been tested in actual operation.
