 I think the `mentors' list is more appropriate in this case.  (I scan
 it mostly to learn and ask questions; but there are people watching
 what goes by who have considerable knowledge and experience, and thus
 have a sayso in who gets to be a package maintainer.  We like to
 listen to the greys.)
