A number of things broke slightly.  Of course, given the major transitions
we have happening here, no wonder things are as good as they currently are
iv you're running unstable.  The the major transitions:

glibc 2.0.7    -->  glibc 2.1
gcc 2.7.x      -->  egcs
kernel 2.0.36  -->  kernel 2.2.x
perl 5.004     -->  perl 5.004/5.005
X 3.3.2.3      -->  X 3.3.4

If the lot of those aren't good reason to have things break, I don't know
what is.
