I know of at least two sets of packages that will break.  My ACE and
TAO packages will break since there is a bug in gcc 2.95 that occurs
when a user overloads the C++ new operator with exception handling
disabled.  gcc 2.95 emits an error stating that the overloaded new
operator must throw an exception despite the fact that exception
handling is explicitly disabled with -fno-exceptions.  There are some
other problems, but this is the one we noticed the most.

We've already submitted a patch to the egcs maintainers but I don't
think the patch will is going to make it into the official gcc 2.95
release.
