you can still make it work if you take the time to think about what needs
to be done:
apt-get update
apt-get -d install postfix
dpkg -iBE --force-depends /var/cache/apt/archives/postfix_*.deb
you'll still have problems with dependancies next time you run apt, but
that's unavoidable if you --force things.
it would be better to use the "equivs" package to make a dummy netbase to
satisfy the dependancy.
