Automatically closing bugs

Hello,

I've noticed the nice dpkg feature to close bugs automatically
when uploading new packages. Now I've got the following mail:

Thank you for your contribution to Debian GNU/Linux.

Does that mean, that the bugs weren't closed? My changelog looks as
follows:

wordnet (1.6-6) frozen unstable; urgency=low
  * Fixed Bug#39960
  * glibc2.1

What did I've done wrong?

Kind regards

         Andreas.
