Hello Ben,

The term "multilink" has been associated with ppp for some time. 

I found a url of interest - http://linux-mp.terz.de/

Multilink is somewhat similar to eql but has, I believe, less
restrictions.  I am very hazy on the details.  Would "multi-seg" be a
better choice?
