I want to become a package maintener but I'm not an expert in bash, in C nor in Debian .deb packaging.
What are ALL the docs I must read in order to be able to become a debian package maintener for small apps like mp3 encoders (it seem's debian doesn't have any ), not libc or devel apps which are too complex.
I have a lot of time (I'm a student) and a passion for computing / Linux, so when I know how to package soft, I will try to manage some of the orphaned or new packages.
What are the softs which are very needed on a debian system and that doesn't exist for now in DEB ?
