    No more than others do behind Debian.  The release cycle from one to the
next for Debian is only slightly larger than that of other distributions. 
Wehn something new occurs in the middle of their cycle chances are their next
release won't have it.  Same for Debian.  Slink just happen to have two
"major" packages released during its cycle.  Big whoop.
