i know you meant it as a joke, but i'd rather not see this kind of crap
on the debian lists. you wouldn't say "damn blacks" or "damn jews" or
"damn <insert any other non-white-anglo-middle-class-male here>" because
you know it's not funny or acceptable for them, so why should it be
acceptable for women?

the author's gender really has nothing to do with his/her/it's code, but
more importantly it is just damn rude and disrespectful to the author
whose code you're packaging for debian.

if she were to read your message she'd probably think something like
"debian's just another club for the boys". that sucks. debian should be
better than that.
