(You know, I happen to be using joe right now and under joe ` is a sacred
key (which I haven't bothered to remap yet, but I'm seriously about to
right now) which means the above could not be just copied and pasted.  I
had to type that in by hand..  Consider it a small measure of how
strongly I oppose the idea of having patents being a consideration of
what's free and what's not)
