dpkg-source -b -- broken?

Hi,

I am trying to build the imlib packages for a new-maintainer upload that I
am going to do once some people have tested them.  However, debuild gets
stuck on the "dpkg-source -b imlib-1.9.2" step.  dpkg-source just keeps
writing to imlib-1.9.2.tar.gz.new.  That file just keeps getting bigger
and bigger.  Any ideas what is wrong?
