This has been addressed by Heiko's dpkg-multicd package.  If you can
please give it a try.

Like the 2.0 CHIP CDs.

(Hmm, I'm not sure if I should do this, but if you want to test,
I could send you a set of beta cds for testing purpose, although
time is short - if you're living in Germany).
