It's not only you who got beaten by this.  I'll have to re-upload
things tonight - need to find a calm hour where I don't have to run
around like a maniac. :-)

Since Santiago has uploaded a compatibility ncurses3.4 package I doubt.
However you could try, it's up to Glider to accept or refuse it.
