Hi,
I personally consider unsubscribe cookies a bad idea. I have had in the past
to unsubscribe myself from some lists while my main mailbox was unavailable.
Using cookies, I wouldn't be able to do this and this is a _major_ hassle.
It would lead in my case to having my university account closed. I think
having cookies to make it difficult for somebody to unsubscribe himself
is broken. Given that we know of no case of somebody unsubscribing others
for fun, I don't think there is much weight in the argument of doing it that
way.
