Right, getting the stuff from http://www.esstech.com/ and using the
IRQ, DMA and I/O address settings reported by the DOS utility worked
for me as well (when I was not using isapnp) but I had to set "Plug
and Play OS" in the BIOS to "No". Otherwise I could not make it work.

Right now I am using isapnp so I can set IRQ, DMA and I/O to anything
I want, without sticking to the defaults.
