This is really two questions. The current user interface for dselect
has some significant problems (for example, consider the effect of key
bounce and/or slow display update when in conflict resolution: if the
enter key is hit twice you may lose all opportunity to browse newly
available packages as a group).
I wasn't talking about dselect, I was talking about the boot-floppies
stuff. Did I miss the point of the original poster? I thought that
was what he was talking about.
