GNUPLOT breaks GPL

15:37:30 $ ldd `which gnuplot`
        libvga.so.1 => /usr/lib/libc5-compat/libvga.so.1 (0x4000c000)
        libreadline.so.2 => /lib/libc5-compat/libreadline.so.2 (0x40048000)
        libm.so.5 => /lib/libm.so.5 (0x4006a000)
        libc.so.5 => /lib/libc.so.5 (0x40073000)
        libncurses.so.3.0 => /lib/libncurses.so.3.0 (0x40131000)

GNUPLOT is not GPL, so it can not be linked with libreadline. I am I right
or drastically mistaken. (I must point out that while I am running a partly
hamm system, my gnuplot is still from bo.)
