Well, hardly. You can always resign. And, if I understand Ian's wording
correctly, decisions you make before he fires you will stand.

It has the authority of the PL. It is his authority that is being
delegated. This is a somewhat authoritarian document.

How about if delegates serve for a fixed term unless they resign or are
removed by the membership? That works for the US government.
