How about:

  /etc/isp/moe/{resolv.conf,...}
  /etc/isp/larry/{resolv.conf,...}

then

  /etc/isp/current -> moe       (symlink)

and

  /etc/resolv.conf -> isp/current/resolv.conf
  /etc/... -> isp/curent/...


That way all that has to be changed is the symlink /etc/isp/current,
and the user has control over what /etc files are dynamically
changed. (e.g. he could replace resolv.conf with a real file and it
would no longer be dynamic).
