Curious About Millenium Bug

They're beetles, actually.  They live underground in North Africa.  Every
thousand years or so they burrow to the surface and fly around laying their
eggs in computers.  The eggs hatch into larva that eat the cpu,
metamorphose into beetles, fly back to Africa, and spend another 1000 years
underground.  Last time they had to make do with abaci.
