This would be WONDERFUL. Most users here which end up avoiding Debian for
RedHat or something else complain that they don't have neither want to
have the expertise for choosing individual packages, specially underlying
system packages. Figuring out dselect seems to be too much for them too.
By the way, if there was an --automatic key to dpkg which made it try to
go after and install dependency packages, instead of stopping and saying
"I'm sorry", that would be a big help too! After all, you normally do have
the whole distribution available in your CD or NFS-imported mirror.
