Here are the logs from my last hamm installation. This was a couple
of weeks ago so the odd version number might have changed.

- Do base install of bo
- after rebooting start a new root shell
- Follow instructions in libc5-libc6 howto
  (http://www.gate.net/~storm/FAQ/libc5-libc6-Mini-HOWTO.html)

dpkg -i ldso_1.9.6-2.deb (base/)
dpkg -i --force-conflicts libc6_2.0.5c-0.1.deb (base/)
dpkg -i ncurses3.0_1.9.9e-2.deb (libs/)
dpkg -i ncurses3.4_1.9.9g-6.deb (base/)
dpkg -i libreadline2_2.1-7.deb (oldlibs/)
dpkg -i libreadlineg2_2.1-7.deb (base/)
dpkg -i bash-2.01-5.deb (base/)
dpkg -i libg++272_2.7.2.8-0.1.deb                (devel/)
dpkg -i dpkg_1.4.0.19.deb (base/)
dpkg -i dpkg-dev_1.4.0.19.deb (utils/)
dpkg -i libgdbm1_1.7.3-22.deb (base/)
dpkg -i libgdbmg1_1.7.3-21.deb (devel/)
dpkg -i perl-base_5.004.04-3.deb (base/)
dpkg -i perl_5.004.04-3.deb (interpreters/)
dpkg -i dpkg-ftp_1.4.9.deb (base/)

- on my local mirror of the hamm distribution make a link from
hamm/main to hamm/stable so dselect is happy

- procede with dselect
