I have just uploaded devscripts-1.7 to chiark which will close the
release critical bug #30838.  I'm away for a week from tomorrow, so I
won't be able to close the bug report before I return, but the fix was
simple and should work.  The all-new devscripts version 2.0 with many
significant enhancements should be ready early in the new year.
