Probably not. All reports I've seen about the __register_frame_info
problem were about the affected binaries reporting that symbol as missing.

But I've had reports of two people that observe SIGSEG or SIGABORT signals
being sent to update-menus. At least one of those people had the most
recent libc6 and libstdc++ installed, so s/he shouldn't observe any
`libc6/libstdc++' problems (well, not the one relating to
__register_frame_info).

It seems very difficult to find the cause of this problem, though, as
I've as not yet been able to lay my hands on a core file, etc.

On the other hand, I _did_ fix one problem that _might_ cause the
problems mentioned. Uploaded as menu-1.5-18 to unstable for now.
