The software does not require that you do this. If you neglect to erase pgp
before returning to the free world, Phil Zimmerman, the copyright holder, is
not going to sue you. The US is the one who is going to be nasty to you, and
that has nothing to do with copyright.

KDE depends on QT, PGP does not depend on being inside a county called the
US. Your analogy is flawed.
