I need more information.  First off, which version of binutils-multiarch
are you using?  I just uploaded the source to 2.9.1.0.15-3 last night.  Be
aware it's an Alpha deb, so don't expect the x86 version there yet, BUT
Roman uploaded -2.1 which is virtually the same package, so you can use
the debs from there.

Also, which architecture are you using?

Chances are, these are precisely the problems fixed by -3....
