Most of the older methods should be removed.  I installed hamm using the
CD-ROM method (seemed logical enough) and it tediously went through _all_
the packages on the CD in randomly-ordered dpkg -iGROEB fashion.  APT
functionality really does obsolete that.

Choice is good, but when the choice is between "slow and inferior" and
"faster and better" there really isn't much point.  APT isn't a tradeoff,
merely an improvement.

That said, multi-CD support in APT would make me an extremely happy
camper...
