I wasn't quite as careful as I should have been with the example RE's,
but it looks like you got the point.
I other RE news, I wrote a patch to makepatch to add a
--exclude-regexp option, and I think the upstream author has accepted
it. He also added a VC (CVS/RCS/SCCS) exclude option, and a glob
exclude option.
