Intent to adopt zlib

Here's the story, zlib hasn't been touched by its "maintainer" in over a
year, despite the fact that this person (Michael Dorman
<mdorman@debian.org>) is still an active developer, he also has not
responded to the two emails I sent regarding zlib.

I have done several NMUs[0] of zlib, and expressed in those two emails my
desire to take over the package if it was no longer wanted, by the lack of
response I can only conclude the package is unwanted.

If this is not the case, I hope this message will provoke some sort of
response.

[0] Things NMUs of zlib have done: libc6 compile, correct handling of
libc5-compat packages, several new upstream releases
