docbook-stylesheets & Christian Leutloff

Is Christian Leutloff on hiatus?  I'd like to bring up
docbook-stylesheets to the most recent version.  I've emailed him
already but no reply.  I remember reading he had to take time off from
Debian or some such.  Comments appreciated.
