ash, apt, dselect == problems
Now that ash == /bin/sh on my system I thought I would test it out.
cron daily seems ok, rebooting was fine. However when I ran dselect w/
the apt method everything SEEMED fine. It grabbed some packages,
installed a new one -- no problems. However at the end of the INSTALL
section I get "read: arg count" and an exit status of 2. So it seems
that a part of apt, dpkg, or dselect is calling a bash-ism. Suggestions
on how I can track down what it is?
