Now fakeroot causing emacs20 build to fail...

Well, it turns out that I can get it down to the call to "make" in one
subdir.  If I call it under fakeroot, some of the .o files silently
fail to build, and the subsequent "ar" step fails.  If I don't use
fakeroot, everything's OK.

I'll build the package the old fashioned way, but I just thought
others might like to know.  If I can get the time to isolate this to
something that might help the fakeroot maintainer, I will, but it may
be a while...
