random install trivia
A friend was installing debian at home, first pass was on bo, because
he "didn't need hamm". A couple random observations:
(1) linux 3c523 driver doesn't detect multiple 3c523 cards.
([however, he had three ethernet cards in that machine, so:]
(2) bo install wouldn't bring up networking if multiple ethernet
cards were installed. [Simple solution: only have one card in
at initial install time.]
I've talked to him a bit about hamm, and he's going to try installing
hamm on three of his machines...
