Re: Powerpoint equiv. for Linux?
StarOffice allows you to create presentations similar to
PowerPoint. The next release (5.) claims to be able to read and write
PowerPoint97 files.
Linux binaries can be obtained from http://www.stardivision.com. It is
free for private use. Universities can get a campus license for 1000DM
(~600 US-$) for the complete campus and all plattforms (win3.1/95/NT,
OS2, MacOS, solaris, Linux)
