Intent to package: fonter

Fonter is a .fnt editor for the Linux console (it displays the font as you
edit it, therefore it uses console ioctl()'s 'n stuff - but it runs as a
user.) It's written by Chris Monahan <roler@primenet.com>, the license is
GPL. It can currently be had from sunsite.unc.edu/pub/Linux/apps/misc.

After talking with Chris, we decided that pristine source was not the way
to go - there are some precompiled binaries in there (even a DOS version)
as well as a large collection of fonts that have no license. Chris doesn't
remember what programs he got them from - apparently a few very old DOS
programs.

I've removed the collection of fonts and the precompiled binary, set the
default fonts directory (fonter's dialog boxes don't yet support
subdirectories - I'll be working with Chris on this, hopefully you'll see a
v1.6 soon) to /usr/share/consolefonts, and fixed a few bugs:

* fonter will no longer crash when the font directory doesn't exist, and
* fonter's dialogs handle longer font filenames better now also.

Maybe v1.6 will handle .psf's as well. Chris has some test code for .pcf
(an X bitmapped font format) output which is also seeking integration.

I've also written a quickie manpage that is basically fonter -h output.

Question: What version of kbd was it that switched /usr/lib/kbd/consolefonts
over to /usr/share/consolefonts?
