Distro mess
Instead of someone making a new distribution based on debian that has "new
linux user" in mind, why not just make a designation when installing for a
"basic system" or even a differ boot disk all together. All this mess of
people leaving to have more control over a distribution, or creating new
ones all together is not making the growth of linux any easier. I love
the diverseness of debian, but i can also see how a new user could get
lost in the close to 1800 packages that are available.
