del and backspace

Hello

I have put:
! /etc/X11/Xresources
!
! This is the global Xresources file.  It is used by both xdm and xinit.
*VT100.Translations: #override \
         <Key>Delete:       string("\033[3~")
	
in /etc/X11/Xresources  
and :
kdch1=\E[3~ 
in Terminfo for xterm (with infocmp and tic).
With this changes I have under X a nice Backspace und DEL-Key. 

Who can check this and can we make this in hamm?
