proposal to package

I propose to package MIT Scheme. This is the original Scheme compiler,
much beloved of anyone who has read SICP (Structure and Interpretation of
Computer Programs) by Abelson and Sussman. It includes some nice
documentation on Scheme macro facilities for those who are beginners,
excellent info pages, yadda yadda.

Oh, and rumor has it that it produces the most heavily optimized native
code to be found, on the order of 2x slower than C. (depends on the
coder: You can write Scheme code that compiles to performance even better
than that of tight C++)

Any objections, thoughts, etc?
