And we have an entire room full of Debian machines here (UT-CS) that
are actually maintained by the department, and of course, Debian's
really the only OS in our research lab.

In addition, I got someone who has a part-time job over in the civil
engineering lab interested, and he's gotten them to switch over some
of their systems (compute and file-servers, etc).  The engineers were
really happy when egcs came on-line and would handle all the fortran
that they could throw at it.  They had been struggling with f2c and
others.
