And let me quote RFC 1036:

    Normally, the rightmost name will be the name of the originating
    system.  However, it is also permissible to include an extra entry
    on the right, which is the name of the sender.  This is for upward
    compatibility with older systems.

So although it is permissible for the last name to be a user name, it is
normally the name of the originating host and thus has to be considered when
the news transport agent is trying to figure out whether to send a message to
a particular host/program.

Hence I am reassigning this bug to cnews.  I've also changed the severity to
important since if cnews does not take into account the last name then it could
cause mail looping when used in conjunction with news2mail.
