The entries in /etc/cron.daily/standard to clean up /var/tmp et.al had been removed due to an easily to be exploited security hole having to do with building a lot of symlinks etc. - Can someone point me to a description of the security hole (I once had an URL but lost it) - Is there a safe variant of this functionality available?
