I think it is very unlikely that we implement any change in *dselect*.
And we are not goint to change extended description syntax in an
incompatible way with respect to dselect, are we?
Anyway, if ".B" were for bold. How do you write a *real* point?
Every formatting language needs a way of *escaping*.
Forbidding something without allowing any escape is unfair,
harmful, nonsense, and bad designed, at least.
