Libc6 progress: 1998-02-06

This is a list of packages in the main distribution that need work to
be fully libc6-based. I base it on the Packages file at my local mirror,
so it may be a day or two out of date. If you have questions about why
a particular package is on the list, or if you think there is an error,
don't hesitate to contact me.

Packages amanda-client, gom-x, nfsroot, rscheme, saoimage, wmaker,
workman, xosview, and xvmount have been converted to libc6.

Package libhdf4g-dev now has the right dependencies.

Packages blt-dev, lapack-dev, and libtclobj-dev are new in the list.
They showed up because of the presence of libc5-dev in hamm. I
decided to leave them in because they do need to get altdev versions.

Package wanpipe is a new package that depends on libc5. From its
description:
This package right now is providing the precompiled binaries from Sangoma
although the source code is included. As soon as a libc6 version is
available an update of this package compiling under libc6 will be made
 available.

There are 52 packages left in the list.
